U.S. Scholar to teach in Brazil
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers exchange opportunities to U.S. university faculty. U.S. Scholars conduct research, lecture and consult in a variety of academic and professional fields with other scholars and institutions of higher education abroad.
The application deadline is generally at the start of August to teach in Brazil in the second semester of the following academic year. Interested U.S. scholars should apply through the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact Brazilian institutions directly, as all candidates are expected to have established institutional affiliation prior to the start of their program. If necessary, the Fulbright Commission may assist selected candidates in confirming a possible host institution or recommending alternate affiliations.
